John represented a local developer against a terminated
employee who claimed that he was given a partnership
interest in all of the developer's ongoing projects.
During pre-litigation discussions concerning the former
employee's partnership claims, the employee defamed
and harassed John's client and his client's family.
After a two-week trial, the jury rejected the former
employee's partnership claim and awarded John's client
$250,000 in damages for defamation and emotional distress.
